A study techinque that worked for me

I can attest to the fact that repetition in studying is a key ingredient to a successful study program. Reading material more than once helps you to understand and remember study material well. However, organized repetition is even more important.
I developed a study pattern for myself which worked well for me in the past and is based off the idea that repetition is key to memory and understanding.
What I did was to create a spread sheet which included the amount of days I had to study, the segments I planned to cover for the day and the topics per segment. At the end of 30 days, I was able to cover eleven segments (34 topics). I was also able to cover each segment 5 times within thirty days. See the spread sheet below
The numbers specify the days during the month.
A -K represents each segment, where each segment would include between 3 to 4 topics or chapters.
I studied each segment in a structured sequence, where I studied the same topic the day after I first studied it, then two days after that, then five days after that and then ten days after that.
In this way I was able to remember and understand almost everything I studied.
N.b. You should change the study sequence, study days, segments and topics/chapters to your needs
